Hello Sunderland! It's Day 1 of our Musical Hydrotherapy training week at Sunningdale School School and what a pleasure it's been to meet their teachers. Today the group has been learning to support each other in the water - it's a therapy that's all about trust, calm and listening.

Day 3 of a #MusicalHydrotherapy training week is always so special. Today Sunningdale School pupils experienced the therapy for the first time in the pool. Such joy: anxious children smiling, agitated children lying still & calm, children with tight muscles releasing their spasm.

About regulation and dysregulation...and how #MusicalHydrotherapy can help. In this fab clip Jess, Occupational Therapist at Sunningdale School School, talks about how helping anxious, struggling children to overcome their dysregulation will help them to access more in the classroom.

Exciting News! Last week we had approval from Sunderland Council that we will be opening a specialist early years provision based in Ryhope. This will cater for Early Years aged children and feature a replication of the facilities and approaches at our main site. opening Sept 25
