2. They shared the ‘Cut Your Carbon’ checklist with school, detailing the 6 different actions we should all aim to complete to support us in achieving this goal. They made posters to put in school and presented to their classmates through November to remind them of the project.

3. Children brought their checklists into school to be awarded 6 house points (SC decided that 6 HP was a good reward – 1 house point for action). At the end of the month, School Council collated the completed checklists, reflecting on the project. Well done School Councillors!

What a treat for the children at Summerhill Infants as Father Christmas made time in his busy schedule for a Q&A with the classes. Mrs Dignum could not resist the opportunity for a photo by the Christmas tree too!

Last week we celebrated our annual 100th day with lots of Maths activities. Thank you to our Parents/Carers who came in and spoke to the children about how they use maths in their daily lives or workplace.

Neptune start Term 6 off as the new House leaders after Mars' dominance for the past 5 terms....

Today in Year 1 and 2 we learnt about World Ocean Day on Sunday 8th June. Ask the children what are the little things we can do to help our oceans' health.

Congratulations to Neptune House. Winning the House Cup for the third consecutive year. Well done to Mars House for winning sports day. Neptune House enjoyed a movie popcorn and a soft drink with the other house captains today.
