It was wonderful to participate in the 15th Annual Asha-Jyothi 5K on Sunday with Supt. Reid, principals, staff & so many of our students from FCPS! Asha Jyothi, a volunteer-based global nonprofit, supports the community & has given over $250,000 to FCPS. I am so grateful to AJ!

Westfield Homecoming 2023. Go Bulldogs!

It was great to cheer on the Westfield Bulldogs @GoBulldogsXC in our district yesterday at Bull Run Park. Many of our middle schoolers were also competing in our first ever FCPS middle school cross country races. I’m excited we have started these middle school sports offerings!

It was a great night at the Taste of Chantilly Chantilly High School. I loved visiting the clubs & tasting goodies the students had prepared, but most of all I loved all the parents, teachers, & students who came up to say hi! Sadly, I was busy enjoying the event & left with no pictures.

HUGE turnout at the FCPS college fair hosted at George Mason University today.

Major congratulations to @stella_pekarsky for her win last night! Another GMU alum that is going to be a fierce fighter for progress in Richmond and we couldn’t be happier about it!

What an honor it was for me to join Navy Elementary students and staff to celebrate our veterans and their families! I am so proud of our students, who learned that the freedoms we enjoy in this country are thanks to the sacrifices of these brave men and women.
