Suffern Library closed on Jan. 29 due to snow. Stay safe!

The Library opens at 9:30am now on Mondays through Saturdays. It's a great opportunity to drop the kids off at school in the morning and then head to the Library.

The Library will be CLOSED on Friday, Feb. 4 due to inclement weather.

What is Open Play? Suffern Library has opened up it's meeting room on Fridays from 1:00-4:30pm for patrons to come play cards, or bridge, Mah Jongg, or whatever you want to play. Register your group at suffernfreelibrary.org.

The Library budget vote takes place on Tuesday, April 26 from 9:30am to 8pm.

The Library's BIG Book Sales are back. Residents of the Suffern Central School District are welcomed to shop at the Preview Sale on Thursday, May 5 from 6-8pm. Otherwise, the sale runs from Friday, May 6 to Saturday, May 7 from 9:30am to 2:30pm each day.

BIG CHANGES COMING UP!!! We will be installing new carpets in the New Materials Section across from the Checkout Desk, and the Media Area (DVD area), as well as behind the Checkout Desk later this week. Services will be slightly altered during the week, so please be patient.

Suffern Library is proud to be among the 160 libraries selected by Public Library Association for the Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T Impact! We are so excited to host digital literacy training in our community to help close the #DigitalDivide.

The Library will close at 1pm on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and re-open at 9:30am on Friday, Nov. 24. If you have materials that need to be picked up during that time, please call us asap to schedule a pickup in our overnight lockers.

We are overstocked and have decided to have a pop-up children's book sale on Monday, July 22 from 11am to 2pm. Hundreds of books will be available for purchase at bargain prices. You can pay with credit card for purchases over $5. Bring your bags.
