The #bikenyc parking added for daylighting to nearly all corners of the Bedford Avenue improves sightlines for pedestrians immensely. NYC DOT please make this style the new norm so painted islands aren’t parked in. And please retrofit corridors like 4th Ave in BK to have these.

Anyone know the average timeline on #bikenyc rack installs? I requested a spot in front of IHOP on Church ave in Brooklyn (DOT-607752-D5V1) nearly two years ago. Still no install from NYC DOT, but my kids ask about it once a month since then when we treat them to pancakes!
