Recent listening: Sonic Youth - Sister (1987) This album has been clicking with me more than ever this week. Really brings the rawk energy.

Currently reading The Kármán Line by Daisy Atterbury (Rescue Press, 2024) Daisy Atterbury Just what I needed right now. Definitely having a "Lift yr. skinny small press hybrid prose/poetry books like antennas to heaven" moment here.

Recent listening: New Radiant Storm King - August Revital (Grass Records, 1994) Elizabeth Sharp’s drumming totally makes their sound on their first three albums. Gives them more of a post-punk feel at times. Some of the beats even remind me of Peter Prescott.

Recent listening: Polvo - Celebrate the New Dark Age (Touch and Go Records, 1994) Have been really living inside this album (mini-album?) in more ways than one lately. Has my favorite Ash Bowie lyrics, line by line.

November '24 reading: A roundtable, unanimous dreamers chime in by Brenda Iijima and Janice Lee (Meekling Press, 2023) One of the books I picked up at Powell’s City of Books during my Oregon trip. A highlight of the hybrid/unclassifiable prose books I read last year.

A mix of my current TBR and books I read in 2024, except for Ebb by Grant Maierhofer, which was one of my first reads of the new year. The Garden of Seven Twilights and Gravity's Rainbow were my top two novels read last year.
