A civilian identified as Mr Min Yan Aung, who joined CDM, was killed when heavy weapon shelled by Myanmar junta landed in Kanpetlet Town, #Chin State on 31 Jan2022. #CDF - Kanpetlet says clash has occurred at 6:30 am this morning in the town, killing three junta soldiers.

The junta's mounting attacks on the people of Myanmar are taking a staggering toll with over 400,000 displaced in the northwest and southeast, at least 114 children killed and untold numbers wounded. Stronger international action is urgently needed to stop these atrocity crimes.

Communities in Matupi Township are facing food shortages as junta cuts off supply routes to the town for the past month & no new supply of goods have arrived in the area since. ChinHumanRightsOrg data shows nearly 4000 people arrived in Mizoram from Matupi Township in January alone
