Last week, Year 6 discussed how changes in the law might impact them. They considered whether studying maths to 18 should be law and whether mobile phones should be banned in schools.

This week our Year 4's had a fun time re-enacting a case in our makeshift crown court. They prepared and got into role and then worked collaboratively to either defend or prosecute the defendant. After a strong case from the defence team, the defendant was found not guilty!

Year 6 had fun creating eggscelent Easter-related vocabulary and puns this morning....

Seren and Eleanor, participated in the 'Once Upon a Dream' Young Writers competition by crafting poems that reflected their dreams. Their poems had been chosen for publication and will feature in the upcoming anthology: ‘Once Upon a Dream – The Land of Make-Believe’ in June 👏📚

Reception had a wonderful time exploring nature. They made 'daisy' sheep, decorated butterflies with natural materials, and transformed pebbles into minibeasts.

Year 4 visited @flavourscookery to prepare and taste three “Ancient Chinese” dishes as part of their learning about the Shang Dynasty. They had a go at making bao buns, egg fried rice, a rice noodle dish and spring rolls 🍚🍜 #StSwithunsItsWhoWeAre

The girls were learning about rocket dynamics this week. They constructed their own stomp rocket designs and then viewed some dry powder rocket flights, making their own predictions about the speed, height, etc.
