For all the people who want to see the Democratic Party destroyed, not many have considered what that actually looks like. What it looks like isn’t Republican super-dominance in all future elections. What it looks like is the Democratic Party becoming the new “3rd party” choice.

The America party will have voters from the left and the right. What will they have in common? Sense.

If they were serious about electing “better Republicans,” they would have worked toward that already. Instead, they pushed the opposite. Nearly a decade into Trump’s GOP, there’s now no practical difference between the Freedom Caucus and the establishment. The establishment won.
