First report of southern rust in GA in 2025; SW corner of Seminole Co not far from where found in Jackson Co FL. Corn now at soft dough stage. Corn in extreme SW GA should be protected with fungicide at VT and beyond. Weather very favorable. UGA ext

Yesterday, we hosted our 18th 4H2O Camp at the Park — it was amazing! Thank you to all our speakers and partners for making this possible. Mitchell County Extension Office, Mitchell County Farm Bureau, Flint River SWCD, Golden Triangle RC&D, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Chehaw, and Georgia 4-H
