Exploring PSHE lessons, KS4 students visited National Justice Museum. In the courtroom, students experienced a contemporary murder case. They enjoyed preparing and presenting a trial and took on the courtroom roles and reached a verdict after a tense debate.

As part of their business studies and history lessons year 9 students from CSS visited York Chocolate Story. They discovered how York became the UK’s home of chocolate; explored the origins of cocoa and they experienced how to taste chocolate like an expert.

In relation with our school's history lessons, our year 7 students had an exciting and informative visit to Sandal Castle in Wakefield. Sandal Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Sandal Magna, a suburb of the city of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England, overlooking the River.
