We were very pleased to welcome Batley Girls' High School as we open up our Community Science Labs for British Science Week. We look forward to hosting HonleyScience Royds Hall, A SHARE Academy Kirkburton Middle School Moor End Academy NHT School Cambridge Street School and #NetherhallLearningCampus soon.

Exploring PSHE lessons, KS4 students visited National Justice Museum. In the courtroom, students experienced a contemporary murder case. They enjoyed preparing and presenting a trial and took on the courtroom roles and reached a verdict after a tense debate.

As part of their business studies and history lessons year 9 students from CSS visited York Chocolate Story. They discovered how York became the UK’s home of chocolate; explored the origins of cocoa and they experienced how to taste chocolate like an expert.

In relation with our school's history lessons, our year 7 students had an exciting and informative visit to Sandal Castle in Wakefield. Sandal Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Sandal Magna, a suburb of the city of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England, overlooking the River.

Bridging Faith and History with Yahya Birt We welcomed renowned historian Yahya Birt to inspire our Year 9 students. An Oxford graduate, he shared his journey of studying history at one of the world’s top universities. #Inspiration #History #Education

Dr Szydlo’s Lab of Wonders 🔬✨ Our students joined Madni School Dewsbury for an electrifying workshop with the legendary Dr Andrew Szydlo! From colour-changing “magic water” to explosive fire + liquid nitrogen stunts, the hydrogen balloon finale left us speechless! 💥

Beyond the Books 📚✨ We were delighted to host the Medology team for their Education Beyond the Curriculum workshop. An inspiring session on medicine, careers & self-development that sparked ambition and opened students’ eyes to new possibilities!

🚦 Our Year 7 students took part in an engaging road safety theatre workshop! Through interactive role-play & real-life scenarios, they learned key skills on crossing safely, avoiding distractions & staying visible. Informative, fun & memorable! 👏 #RoadSafety #Year7

Our students enjoyed a captivating visit to Cartwright Hall exploring the artistic heritage of Islamic civilisation. Highlights included viewing fragments of one of the oldest Qur’anic manuscripts and joining an inspiring calligraphy workshop exploring Urdu & Chinese Muslim art
