A sea condition forecast system developed within the project will be used for determining dynamic maps of flooding of the urban surface. Maps will be used to simulate past tidal events as well as to produce operating forecast flooding scenarios.

On 7 and 8 October, the Università Iuav di Venezia will host a two-day workshop on the governance of flood risk on the Adriatic coasts.The workshop is meant to set the basis for the elaboration of guidelines for risk reduction and management of flood emergencies in the Adriatic coast.

Almost 140 thousand euros worth of equipment to fight and mitigate pollution at sea, purchased through the EU project STREAM, and for several fire brigades in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The equipment was handed over to the Fire brigades during a ceremony in Slano.

Arpae trained its local stakeholders in Comacchio last May 11. The purpose of the training was to raise awareness of the risks of floods and storm surges in the regional area and give information on risk and emergency management tools
