The Stream project goes to school! The staff of the Civil Proception of Regione Marche 🤓📣presented the management system in case of meteorological and hydrogeological risks to the students of the Institute "A.Einstein-A.Nebbia" in Loreto (Italy).
How much reliable flood forecasting systhems are important in the Adriatic sea and in Venice in particular? On 7 and 8 October, the Università Iuav di Venezia will host a two-day workshop on the governance of flood risk on the Adriatic coasts.The workshop is meant to set the basis for the elaboration of guidelines for risk reduction and management of flood emergencies in the Adriatic coast.

In an analysis produced by CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche researchers with the Univ. fo Salento and the Univ. of Zagreb, Venice is used as a paradigm of coastal flooding. They investigate the rimportance of different drivers of coastal flooding and their temporal changes: rdcu.be/cKLO1
