Twitter decided we were a bot or some nonsense so here's an update on our last 2 games. 4-2 win over Ferndale Rodbourne Mens then a disappointing hammering away to Cricklade Town FC, 7-1 loss. Enjoy your seasons lads and thanks for the games.
Back in pre-season action tomorrow vs newly formed Merlin managed by our former striker Dan. Thin squad with a few trialists as we prepare for a second consecutive season in Division 1. Stratton Juniors FC Stratton FC SwindonSundayLeague UTFS. π β«οΈπ β«οΈ
A game of 2 halves today.First half saw us 2-0 down at the break, a much better second half with a solitary goal from Callum Cormack. 2-1 the final score which given we had 12 players and played in desert temperatures wasn't too bad. Stratton FC Stratton Juniors FC UTFS π β«οΈπ β«οΈ
Sunday we play our annual charity match in memory of Andy 'Ratty' Morse who tragically took his own life in 2023. We take on Rattys Dogs of War at Merton, 10:30 kick-off. All monies raised will be donated to Best Mates, a mental health charity in Swindon. Stratton Juniors FC
Pre-season action again this Sunday as we take on GreenmeadowFC at New College. A mixed bag of results so far, so we're hoping to finish the summer schedule with a positive result. Stratton FC π β«οΈπ β«οΈ
2-2 draw vs a decent GreenmeadowFC side. Goals from Callum Cormack and Matty Buckingham from the corner spot. Cheers for the game lads, see you in the Wilts Cup in 2 weeks. π β«οΈπ β«οΈ

Tough fixture away to Nalgo Rangers βοΈ after an unreasonably long break. π β«οΈ
Outstanding performance today helped by our seemingly unbeatable GK who had an unreal morning. Delightful little 3 points for Christmas. See you next year Nalgo Rangers βοΈ. π β«οΈπ β«οΈ
After 9 seasons we have made the decision to resign from the SwindonSundayLeague with immediate effect. The season started with 10 teams in Division 1 now down to just 3! We look forward to joining the Chippenham and Bath League from the 26/27 season. #shitshow
