Why should #volunteers who 💚 their #RiverLea be put at risk pulling heavy fly-tipping up steep muddy banks out of contaminated water?! A pollution boom needs to be installed on Thames Water 💧 #LeaFloodReliefChannel with vehicle access,&maintained by HGVs&paid, trained staff #SDG8

Lea Bridge Water Works Hackney Water Works. In the 1690s Francis Tyssen installed a waterwheel on the site of a fishery weir at Jeremy’s Ferry. The water raised was piped to a reservoir at Clapton and from there to local properties. These works fell into disrepair but in 1760

A well-cared for herd of English Longhorn cows in #EppingForest being let back out to graze at Fairmead, following a quick 'MOT' with the team, where feet & horns were checked & batteries in collars replaced if needed. All passed with flying colours as healthy, happy cows.
