A blustery night through to Sunday morning for a summit #bivvy Windchill reached freezing. I wandered along the hills on the west side of Lairg Ghru - superb vistas! Pics need a click #Munros #Cairngorms #Scotland

Spent an amazing morning on Saturday traversing the Aonach Eagach. I was treated to a brocken spectre (1st pic). Cloud shrouded and dispersed from the ridge as I made my way along the notched ridge. Thrilling! Pics need a click! #Glencoe #Munros #AonachEagach

Traversed from Sgurr Choinnich to Maoile Lunndaidh on Saturday. Three clear summits before rain and cloud moved in from the west. Only met one person - I’m surprised this area is not as popular because it’s stunning! #Munros #Scotland #Glenuaig

Six fantastic days #rafting Colorado River through the #GrandCanyon Many thanks to Hatch River Expeditions especially Josh and Matt. Day one to Red Wall Canyon. Showers forecast so slept in a cavern. Numerous bats catching insects at night.

Day 2 #GrandCanyon such beautiful light. Still travelling through red walls. Walked up to #Nankoweap granaries - what an amazing view down the Canyon! Cooler sleeping by the river away from rock. #Hatchriverexpeditions

Day 3 #GrandCanyon Such a privilege to watch the morning light creep into the canyon down to the river. Big rapid day - Hance, Sockdolager, Granite and Crystal didn’t disappoint! #Hatchriverexpeditions

Day 4 #GrandCanyon Opportunities to walk up slot canyons. Elves Chasm was beautiful and cool - colonies of Orange Monkeyflower grew with their roots in the running water. So unexpected to see running water in an arid canyon.

Day 5 #GrandCanyon Passed through the narrowest part of the canyon at only 76ft (1st pic) which felt unbelievable as the top rims are so far apart! A side walk to Deer Creek was an opportunity to get out of the sun for a while.

A peaceful paddle from Cannich to Aigas Dam on the River Glass and Beauly. The river works itself from side to side up the glen before straightening out. Lovely seeing the autumn colours coming. #packrafting #packraft #Scotland #Beauly #Strathglass #Aigasgorge

25.10.25 Early morning dusting of snow on north facing slopes. A cold start to the day with a ferocious bitter wind which eased. On Meall Corranaich and Meall a’ Choire Leith in the shadow of Ben Lawers. #Munros #Scotland

26.10.2025 An early start on Meall nan Tarmachan to traverse the tops. Gorgeous sunrise before biting snow showers enveloped the ridge. The frozen blown water at the lochan was interesting to see as it must have been developing for quite some time. #Munros #Scotland
