As part of our topic Primary 1 went on a tour of our school. We were so lucky to visit all of the classrooms, the school office and Mrs Rafferty’s office. We even heard about some of the jobs the adults in our school do 🏫🤩.

Primary 2/3 had a special treat today to celebrate St Monica’s Day 🍦

A beautiful mass led by Bishop Toal to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Saint Monica’s Parish. Well done to so many of our children for leading the bidding prayers, offertory procession and singing the hymn to our Patron Saint. We are so proud of you.

Lots of fun and games at the breakfast club recently. Remember children can come from 8.15 - 8.45 to have breakfast and play some games before school begins. All are welcome and it is free for children in Primary 1-5.

Primary 2/3 were investigating how whole numbers are constructed by using concrete materials to represent tens and units 🌟

We were delighted to have our P7’s participate in theDiocesan Schools Mass to celebrate the Jubilee year 🙏 at Carfin Grotto with over 2000 other pupils! So proud that one of our children was chosen to be a flag bearer!

An important day in P1/2 as we learned our first sound! I’m sure we will tell all of our adults about it tonight and it would be so helpful if we could practise at home 🐜🍎.
