The last 4 primary schools to receive t-shirts for the Coventry Children’s Mile 🏃‍♀️ 🏃 were St Laurence's CE St Patrick's Primary Saint John Fisher and Pearl Hyde Sport England

Well done to Lauren, Victoria, Zach and Maxwell who won silver in the School Games Year 5 Tennis competition at Cov & North Warks Tennis & Cricket club. They competed, excellently, winning 12 of 16 matches. The level of tennis on display was phenomenal. A great achievement!!!

Well done to the Year 3&4 Girls Football team who took part in the Girls Football celebration event today at the AT7. Some great football played, lots of goals and even more fun. Well played St. Laurence's. Thanks to SGO Coventry East Stuart Davoile for a fantastic event.

Recently we took 9 children to the UK'S newest and fastest growing sports, HADO. Wearing augmented reality headsets and a handset to fire shots at the opposition. The idea is to hit the opponents without being hit; like a game of virtual dodgeball. We had an amazing time.

On Tuesday the year 3&4 Girls football team braved the freezing temperatures to play in their second football tournament. They played some excellent football, winning two games and losing one. We can definitely see the improvement the girls are making. Well done to all the team.

The Year 5&6 Sports Hall Athletics team performed and represented the school amazingly. We won our heat with 244 points.  The boys won all 6 races, with the girls finishing no lower than 3rd, winning 1. They also completed 6 field events. We look forward to the final in 2025.
