WASTE LESS 💙 Many donations we receive come in bags of all shapes, sizes & materials. We organise all #plastic bags that come through the warehouse to be utilised efficiently, for bundling clothes, shoes, toys, linens & more, allowing us to reuse & avoid purchasing new! #recycle

A standalone youth homelessness strategy is urgently needed. The current system is fragmented, designed for adults and doesn’t provide stability for young people who have who have experienced significant trauma in their childhoods, such as family violence #NHCMelbourne

What happens when a pram is donated to us? Take a look! Lots goes in to making sure a pram is safe and ready to go out to families in need.

Last week we helped a mum & newborn fleeing family violence with a 25 min turnaround. She had fled to Melbourne with nothing. Social services reached out to say the newborn had no safe sleeping options. We immediately put these items together & loaded them in a taxi.

A 19yr old got a call from Child Protection and within hours became the primary carer for her 1yr old brother. She had nothing. Thankfully, her case worker knew about #StKildaMums and within days, we were able to provide the young girl with necessary equipment and supplies.
