Year 4 have been having fun modelling the digestive system to give them a better understanding of how it works. See if you can guess which part of it each picture shows.

In Art, Year 4 have been learning about 3D sculptures. We used soap to make our own sculpture.

Reception have been making clay animals. It was hard work, manipulating the clay.

Year 1 have had a lovely time watching our chicks grow. We will miss them when they go back to the farm tomorrow!

Reception have painted their clay animals. We are very proud of their lovely artwork!

Year 6 learnt a lot about the main characters and events from the early Islamic civilisation era in today’s workshop. The children used drama to improvise various behaviours of different leaders as well as various life experiences according to their status.

We joined together as a whole school this morning to celebrate all the hard work we have done this term 💪🏅

During Art today, Year 6 continued their learning about the early Islamic civilisation by looking at the three main types of Islamic art: geometric, vegetal and calligraphy. They went on to create their own Islamic geometric patterns using traditional techniques.

This week in year 3, we have been discovering that angles are all around us.

We are learning about sound in science, and created an experiment to show how sound travels through vibrations.

Reception will be making boats this term. In preparation, we have been finding out which materials are waterproof.

Our Eco Committee have been very busy, this week. We have harvested some lovely fresh coriander and have also been looking at the air quality in our area.

Year 5 have made some superhero inspired Father’s Day cards. Can you figure out which superhero they’ve created?

Reception are enjoying watching our caterpillars grow. We have noticed that they weave silk too.

Year 4 completed their mini medics first aid training today. Well done
