A bit of self indulgence here but just out of a fairly major op. All seems to have gone well. Huge thanks to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. What an incredible facility the QE is and the staff just outstanding. Impossible to put a value on our amazing NHS staff but we can pay them more Humza Yousaf

This is Newlands Park, Glasgow. 3 years ago we set about trying to raise funds to redevelop these derelict old courts. On Friday we got the news that we had secured a £140,000 grant to do this. 1/

And the work starts today. 4 brand new, all weather courts with new fencing which will create a fantastic opportunity for people to play sport

We have set up a Community Interest Company to manage the facility and we are developing a programme of free activity to engage the community to offer everyone access to the sport
