Id say as expected with Fischer, Young & C. Aucoin sitting it's been hit & miss. Have really liked Kaden Aucoin & Jacob Reese in their first OHL games. Bridgewater & Barr need to raise their game IMO if they wanna stick. Both can, but gotta do it quick.

Spencer blows up a Sting player (cant tell who) who never touched the puck & Bax goes after the huge (6'6") Dman. Good tilt & definitely something the rest of the team will take note of for Bax who's trying to make the team.

Liam Beamish does what he always does & that's win a faceoff clean & then James Barr goes bar down to put Sarnia ahead 5-4. Their 3rd PPG of the night.

Knights win on a late goal, 6-5. Very entertaining game for pre season. A lot to like for the Sting IMO. Goals from Beamish x2, Barr, Aucoin & Chamberlain.

Appreciate London Knights livestreaming that game! That was as entertaining a pre season game can get I think. Glad we got to watch it. Hopefully round 2 tomorrow is as fun.

A late Karimov PPG has this game tied at 2 after 2. A very physical, chippy affair once again. Think that'll be a theme this year.

LDN wins another entertaining game 5-4 in a shootout I really do like a ton of the game from Sarnia this weekend They controlled a lot of play in both games. Very physical&special teams were strong Gotta clean up late game situations tho. Something that plagued them last yr 1

Goals from Edwards x2, Di Iorio & Karimov. A lot of guys had strong nights, but had to love how Di Iorio and Edwards looked. Both looked terrific. Continue to like Kase Kamzik's play. Of the free agents Jordan Bax really stood out in all areas.

A lot to like but a lot to clean up as expected for the first weekend of pre season. There's a ton of kids getting their first taste of OHL hockey and it'll take time for some to adjust. Back at it next week vs Barrie and North Bay in Midland!

Pretty cool to see 2,868 fans in the building for a Sting preseason game. Not too long ago that was the average attendance number for Sarnia in the regular season. The franchise has done a great job of building up the fanbase over the last few seasons

Didn't notice this yesterday. Denes had a good camp but definitely looked a bit overwhelmed in LDN. Romain I thought showed well. Figured he'd get another look. Good showings for both of them though. That leaves Sarnia at 19F & 9D with 3 pre season games remaining. #Sting

This would be a HUGE blow to some #OHL teams. Greentree, Dickinson, Beaudoin, Vanacker, Luchanko, He, George could all leave their teams for the AHL instead of being returned after NHL camps.

Sennecke, Danford, Fischer, Jiricek, O'Rielly as well. Now this would be killer for the #OHL. Could lose so many of their star players. I do hope NHL teams don't rush all these kids. Some definitely need more time in Jr.
