Cracking sunny day around the patch today with 10+ Chiffchaff,Hen Harrier and my first true spring migrant of the year in the form of a Little-ringed Plover on East Halton marshes.

Christ what a game!

A great few hours around here after the rain this afternoon with Tim Cowley saw highlights including 2 Gos, Raven, 2 Dipper, 2 Grey Wag and 3 Mandarin. A further 16 Mandarin and a drake Goosander were seen nearby at Hackness Lake.
