Steve Giordano Dude just saw Helter Skelter. Loving the slight feature-length vibe of your latest stuff. Reminded me of the India Repo. Then after I was listening to Crosby, Stills and Nash and "Almost cut my hair" came on. For some reason my mind went back to you. 🤣😆 Nice, man.

Steve Giordano Bob Allen Don’t ever stop the Cockpit Casual series. Just finished the latest, bloody fantastic as always. The visuals, the music, the commentary, fabulous. One of my favourite YouTube channels around. Keep up the great work!

This has "gone Viral". As explained by pilot Steve Giordano from Nomadic "Timing suggests power was applied, takeoff config warning sounded, and then the non-flying pilot (PM) dropped the flap handle on the go." (no more info on type, location, date)

Bob Allen Celebrated the #Nomadic brand at #OSH25 today. Despite hot, humid conditions, we spread the love to everyone we met. Y’all need a merch booth here next year! Thanks to Steve Giordano for getting this #merchdrop across the goal line!

One of my kids started in a college 141 program last year. When we went to the Q&A at the start, the room was filled with 200+ families (w/mostly no aviation knowledge). The whole thing was a big circle-jerk where the staff blathered on about “make 100K within 3 years”, “pilot

I was always told NEVER hit the brakes on a powerback for this very reason. At least on the MD80, the procedure is to have enough room to stow the buckets and apply some thrust to slow to a stop.

Only powerback I’ve ever done was on an MD-90 in Nome AK. Only a midfield taxiway was plowed, and snow banks were so high I couldn’t do a 180 on the runway - so we powered back about 2,000’ to get back to the turn-off. Middle of the night heading stateside with a JAL bird heading
