This Saturday (9/8) I'll be leading the 'Docklands Explorer' walk. Completely traffic-free, free of charge and open to all, it crosses the old London Docks of Wapping and Shadwell and finishes at the 'Prospect of Whitby'. Meet at the sundial above Tower Hill tube at 1.30pm 😉

After my Docklands Walk, I'll be leading my new 'Southbank Explorer' walk on Sat 16th. This one is the 'Grand Circle Route' following the north bank to St. Paul's, then the Millenium bridge to the south bank and back to cross Tower Bridge. Includes St. Paul's gardens and crypt.

My 'southbank explorer' goes ahead this Saturday. Weather will be cooler so I asked AI for a cool image. 😉 We go from Tower Hill to St. Pauls, then across the Millenium Bridge for the southbank walk to Tower Bridge. Meet me at the sundial above Tower Hill tube at 1.30pm.

These bring back memories, Mags. I used to work in South Kensington, which is as good as saying in France, in many ways! Around the corner was a 'Whole Foods Market' where I bought these and had them at lunch time after a salad meal. Always had Scottish marmalade on them! 😜

When I ask AI to produce 'childlike maps' of my walk along the Southbank which includes Tower Bridge and St. Pauls, it comes up with these twisted little gems! 😳 It may not be quite geographically accurate, but it ceetainly captures the feel and essence of the walk. 😊
