I don’t care where you land politically. Removing the memorial, under the cloak of darkness no less, is cruel bullshit. It was a way to honor those killed in a mass shooting. If you agree with what happened, you’re trash. Just block me and keep it moving.

Resident near Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway who is leading the opposition to SMI "acknowledges they moved into their home knowing the speedway was there. She claims there were rumors the track would be closing when she and her husband bought the home." newschannel5.com/news/state/ten…

Here's an example of a CHL guy who committed to NCAA, went down and found out it wasn't what he wanted after all and has already come back north. I'm told that he's not the only one.

It took a little longer than expected but Aleks Kulemin has signed with the Kingston Frontenacs. A huge piece for a team that expects to contend at the top of the OHL this season

My condolences to Paul Byrdges & family. Paul’s daughter Jenna died in a car accident in Pennsylvania. She was only 22. Paul is a former Storm assistant coach & was the Captain of the Guelph Platers 1986 Memorial Cup winning team.

My understanding is a team can’t have two 20 year olds as free agents playing their 1st year in the league. Last season, Charlottetown added Thomas Sirman and Madden Steen. The latter was ruled ineligible and subsequently traded to Moncton and released by the Wildcats.

Braidy Wassilyn (2026 draft) will play for OHL Niagara again this season - he'll head to Boston U. after that (there had been the possibility he could go to the Terriers early).

Couple of players that saw action with the Storm last season were released at draft time to make room on the protected list: Goaltender Kayden Newton and defenceman Nathan McHattie. Newton is currently on the roster of the GOJHL's Hamilton Kilty Bs.

Jett Luchanko has already left for the Philadelphia Flyers training camp. Six other Guelph Storm players are also heading to NHL rookie camps later next week.
