Panzer Dragoon Saga (Sega Saturn) Right.... what's all the fuss about then? I've never played this before. (Disclaimer: I do not physically own this game as I am not rich)

Panzer Dragoon Zwei (Sega Saturn) Another first time play for me, I only had a couple of hours yesterday so I thought I'd blast through this.... What a game! I'm absolutely blown away with how much I love this one. The atmosphere, the MUSIC ❤️ Stunning.

Sega Saturn 3D Pad A question for my knowledgeable Sega friends. What's your opinion on this? Do I need one? Is it a fun thing to own? There are a few modern analogue stick pads for the Saturn but they have a bad reputation.

It was 1995 in the UK. I was a student with little free cash. It was time to make the choice, Saturn or Playstation? I traded every gaming item I had (SNES, Megadrive + games) and got just over £300. The Playstation was £299.99. The Saturn was £399.99 The choice was made.

Soukyugurentai (Terra Diver) Sega Saturn I wanted a quick go on this game last night and ended up playing it for hours. Absolutely superb! Great soundtrack, perfect tight controls. The Saturn really is a shooter box. (I refuse to call them shmups)

Shienryu - Sega Saturn I've found another Saturn game to love! So enjoyable to play, it actually feels more like a PC Engine shooter to me. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is very smooth. The only downside is the music, It's bizarre! It needed a metal/rock soundtrack.

Kingdom GrandPrix - Sega Saturn I'm not sure what to make of this game. I do like a lot about it but also don't really understand it yet. It's very difficult! I had real trouble getting anywhere with it although I was having a lot of fun. Any tips on playing it? Anyone?

Sega Rally - Sega Dreamcast (1999) I have some real love this game, it's great fun and the pure nostalgia of those early DC times means even more to me. I hadn't played the Saturn version at this point either, not even in the arcade. Is the DC steering wheel worth picking up?

The 8-bit game library had some amazing cover art, so many stunning pieces of artwork (and stolen images, Gryzor being one of my favourites) It was also a great example of a game era where the game artwork was absolutely not representative of what you actually got, graphically!

To go with my new obsession, I thought I'd pick up some issues of the official Sega Saturn magazine. HOW MUCH??? Maybe one or two a month then 😄 (This is sadly not my copy)

Finally !!!!!! Sega Saturn 3D Pad I've been looking at this through the glass at a local videogame store and today.... It's mine. Got a couple of scratches on the plastic but I'm looking forward to trying it out with some games.

Sega Saturn So I tried my new 3D pad on a few games. I think the pad is superb, so comfortable. The analogue has a pretty large surface area so your finger doesn't slip off and the analogue triggers are awesome. (UK version pictured but I tried out the special Japanese version)

Hades 2 - Nintendo Switch 2 I do also buy new/modern games! I absolutely love the first game, I've been waiting for this to hit the shops so I could play it whilst supporting physical media. Rumoured to be one of the best games of 2025, hope the reviews are right !
