If I ever needed to see a teacher, I would let them know why before hand, so they didn't worry why all day. Head games create dysfunctional relationships.

Teachers venting about going back to school or wishing that their summer break was longer (especially after this past year) does NOT mean that they hate teaching. Just like when parents can't wait for their kids to go back to school doesn't mean that they hate their kids.

I love this. Too many times we think we have to be perfect as teachers. We don't have to know all the answers. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and model real-time learning.
