It has been an enormous honor and pleasure to serve as the President of the Southern Neurosurgery Society for the past year. Thank you to everyone who participated in our meeting last weekend to make it such a fantastically fun educational event!

It was a great honor to join the esteemed faculty for this inaugural event and I look forward to its continued growth. Can’t get much better than a full day of cadaver training with the residents and fellows who all got to perform multiple endoscopic operations.

We had a great first day at the NASS REMi Section course with several excellent lectures, interesting discussions and robust cadaver lab. Looking forward to day 2 with endoscopic training tomorrow!

Thank you to Dr Cheng and the AHN team for another fantastic Pittsburgh Spine Summit, one of the best meetings every year. Trainees love the extensive cadaver labs, candid presentations of complications and their avoidance as well as multiple lectures on innovative topics

At the Florida NSGY Society, we had a great discussion of literally 10 different successful methods to treat this common issue. Most of the cited literature discusses open procedures, but modern surgical treatment is better tolerated by our patients. Join us next year’s meeting!
