Do you have "Walter Presents" in France? On Channel 4 we are able to watch some superb French TV programmes at will, " Killer by the Lake", (series),and "Vanished, and " Fear ", as well as "Murder in Paris", and "Love and Trouble in Paris", a romcom all so good.

Is closing all donations to the Harrow Museum , (The Headstone Manor Museum), for at least a year, in the interests of the people of Harrow?

Carol, Treasure these very special moments, sadly, as we age they get fewer and fewer. All the more reason to FULLY appreciate them. Got the earplugs handy?

Thanks for all your fascinating work,"Digging for Britain!"Such a gap was left after "Time Team" finished, there must be so much more to discover. How about a programme about what detectorists have discovered in the last ten years? Do you approve of their work?

We had a mother Great Spotted Woodpecker, teaching a young male how to feed from one of our bird feeders. I wish I had been able to take a photo! One things woodpeckers eat mainly insects from tree tapping....

"Jane B" (who I was lucky enough to meet in person at Jose' Arthur's Pop Club, with Serge),did more for Anglo French entente cordiale than any number of diplomats and ambassaders. She was the muse of France's greatest 20th century songwriter;my condolances to all her family+friends

At last England have remembered the drop goal is the "Exocet" weapon that wins matches If you have a talented drop goal player. Its almost impossible to defend against! Ironical to use it against Argentina!

Listening to "Oh la la! Rugby God is on the podcast!" at frenchrugbyconnections.buzzsprout.com/1327186/136008… What do you think about the ITV backdrop of the rooftops of Paris. Nice idea if a bit phoney, it must be a set. with a flapping French drapeau to look like it is real!

I am so enjoying rereading "The Olive Farm" and "The Olive Season". Why have they not been made into a film? If they were, (with you doing the voice over of the magical descriptive text), who would you choose to play you and Michel? I'm curious....

I suppose the failure of "A Year in Provence" by Peter Mayle, sadly miscast with John Thaw, that missed the humour and originality in the script, may have put off any producers...But your BBC short series, whetted the appetite for the full story from the beginning to new viewers.

Happy Birthday Ms Deneuve institut-francais.org.uk/festivals-and-… Et son dernier film, "Bernadette", ou elle joue Bernadette Chirac? Encore une interpretation magnifique!

What a dreadful shock and loss. She was always so bubbly such a fun personality. Although I never met her I enjoyed every time she appeared in the media. Sixty four is far too soon to leave us. Rest in peace dear Annabel, you are much missed by so many fans!

What a magical programme this icy 1st December morning on B.3! The tone was set after mention of removing frost from your bicycle seat, " as Elgar most probably did", such a brilliant segway from Beethoven to Elgar. You can now actually buy a bicycle seat that heats up!

From Beethoven to Elgar, (the Finzi singers excelled), Bach, Vivaldi, Liszt, Carl Orff, Gershwin, plus Holmes, Braciewicz and Beach, the last three unknown to me. It was all so good as I gently and dozily awoke, that am listening again this evening !

@HenryCobboldKHm Do you follow"The Persuaders" with Roger Moore & Tony Curtis at late night on GreatTV? They show in the titles, Knebworth House(ivy clad-permission granted?), as Lord Brett Sinclair's family home, then Harrow and Oxford? Viceroy Edward Robert Lytton's school !

Is TV MasterChef's, (the non coooking one!,) Gregg Wallace getting his just deserts. As well as a custard pie, perhaps a toad in the hole (that remark is purely culinary- not sexual! I always fantasied about Marcus or Monica asking him to cook an unseen chef's special.
