In lead up to productivity round tables, important to remember better/quicker access to mental health therapies is productivity enhancing (and no, this is not about more fee-for-service): The effect of area-level waiting times for psychological therapies sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

So if you were the government, would you reverse stupid Job Ready Graduates policy, ⬆️fee free TAFE, expand clinical placement program to other disciplines, expand research (either ⬆️grants or fund properly) etc. Discussion about JRG needs to understand opportunity costs

New 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿report with nice breakdown of what they call ‘potentially mitigable’ admissions & stays, not sure every definition correct, & presents spurious accuracy, but worthwhile project could be replicated here to correct our obsession that more beds = good connect.strategyunitwm.nhs.uk/nhp/community_…

Sure, you could use AI to summarize papers and explain them at a level anyone could understand... or you can turn the abstracts into music videos for no reason. The tools are not perfect yet, but the disparate elements (consistent characters, lip syncing, etc.) are evolving fast
