Thank you so much to everyone who donated to this year’s For the Love of Laurence fundraiser in memory of my late husband. Last Saturday, 71 of us took part in the 18-mile walk from Guildford to Dorking and we raised £6,600 for St Catherine’s Hospice in Sussex. #FTLOL 🩷🤍🧡

Today, on International Nurses Day, we’re celebrating the incredible compassion, skill, and dedication of our nurses- both in our hospice and out in the community. To all our nurses: thank you for the care you show every single day. 🧡

An incredible result that will help support local people in need of hospice care 🧡

A burst of spring has arrived at our hospice, thanks to a beautiful donation from Tulleys Farm 🌷 We’re so grateful to have received a generous supply of tulips, now brightening spaces throughout the hospice – from our coffee lounge and ward corridors to patient rooms.

We did it! 🎉 On Sunday 11 May, 20 amazing supporters took on the iconic Spinnaker Tower abseil for our hospice – and what a day it was! 🧡 Clear skies, high spirits, and a whole lot of courage. So far, they’ve raised an incredible £19,686!

On Friday, we made the most of the summer sun thanks to the kindness of Donna.🍦 She brought her ice cream van to the hospice and treated patients and their visitors to a sweet moment of joy, donating delicious ice creams that were met with big smiles and grateful hearts.

Today we’re celebrating Julie, who has reached an incredible 15 years of service at our hospice. 💐 A Clinical Administrator for our Wellbeing team, Julie has been a steady presence helping things run smoothly so that patients and families can receive vital support.

On Tuesday, we held our 2025 Volunteer Awards at the stunning Greentrees Estate in Balcombe to celebrate the incredible people who give their time and talents to our hospice. 💫 Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special afternoon!
