Reception have been learning that the Bible is a special book that tells us about God. We have learned that God created the world and said ‘indeed it is very good’. We also know he loves us, we looked in the mirror and made pictures of ourselves and said ‘God loves me.’

Father blessed our school council badges, sports leader badges house captains and prefect badges. Well done to all our councillors, leaders and prefects we wish them a very successful year in their new roles.

Year 2 to Year 6 attended mass to celebrate the Feast Day for St Robert Bellarmine. This gave us the opportunity to join our parish to begin our year together. Our Y6 prefects, Sports leaders & School Councillors were awarded their badges too following a blessing from Fr Mark.

Y3 are having a fantastic day learning all about the Stone Age and preparing to perform a play about it to the rest of the school.

Reception have been sorting some of the items in the home corner into 2 sets; a past set and a present set. We have enjoyed learning some new names (carpet beater, washboard, typewriter and ewbank). #understandingtheworld #pastandpresent
