We kick off the #SGRegionalConference2025 at Cadbury House, Bristol. Today, we explore tackling inequalities, youth voice, and physical literacy. Connect and share ideas that will strengthen School Games delivery across the South West.

Tonight marked the first tip-off of our mixed boys and girls league 🏀 Celebrating teamwork, inclusion, and equal opportunity in sport. When they weren’t playing matches, young people joined an exciting Master Skills Session led by our eager Y10 Sports Leaders! 👏🔥

Yesterday, I kicked off my targeted interventions at Kingsweston Special School, helping six girls gain access to football. Excited for the month ahead, every Monday is about giving them the chance to play, learn, and love the game ⚽️ School Games Youth Sport Trust

We finished our Year 5/6 Basketball League, which proved to be a highly competitive and enjoyable event. Over the weeks, schools showed great enthusiasm and improvement. During breaks between games, they enjoyed the skill sessions delivered by our Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders🏀

Double school day! 💥 Loved being back with the Y5/6 sports leaders at WoT Academy and Stoke Bishop CofE Primary School - more energy, more confidence, and more leadership in action! 💪 Inspiring to see how far they’ve come and the difference they’re already making🌟

Over the past two years, I have supported WoT Academy through the School Games. They have improved enrichment for all students, promoted Y6 sports leadership, collaborated with secondary leaders on transition, & targeted the right students for events using the intent.

Great feedback received after a active Youth Voice session today with targeted young people from Cotham Gardens. This group are in the process of co designing a weekly intervention with myself starting in Janaury 2026.
