At Pivotal we love to see young people getting involved in talking about what matters to them and their communities. Thanks to Fermanagh Trust for hosting this discussion and to Stats & Stories for facilitating.

Read excellent overview from FactCheckNI on the stats of children in care in Northern Ireland - provisional data from Department of Health indicate 4,317 children in care at 30 September 2024. This represents 28.4% increase from the pre-pandemic figure & 27.6% increase from March 2020👇🏻

Yes Stats & Stories ! An excellent piece & reminder for those celebrating one year of delivery NI Executive that children & yp who contributed extensively to the review are still waiting for tangible systemic change that will make their lives better. They’re growing up fast ⏰‼️

Reform of children’s social care as set out Children's Social Care Services Independent Review is *yet* another area where the NI Executive should have made more progress in their 1st year back. Regionalising children’s services means better outcomes for families - what are we waiting for? Check out blog #Reimagine

Many thanks to Dr Donna Kernaghan of Stats & Stories for leading the focus groups with young people central to our new report, 'Achieving greater integration in Northern Ireland: young people's voices' pivotalppf.org/our-work/publi…

Great to work with @PivotalPPF again to build on their work on the barriers to integration in Northern Ireland. Young people want change but see ‘integration’ largely as an abstract concept with little bearing on their everyday lives. Check out the full report below for more👇🏻
