The State College Borough is now accepting applications for police testing to join the State College Police Department (SCPD). The deadline to register is Saturday, December 21, 2024. To register visit statecollegepa.us/policetesting.

The State College Police Department and other Centre County law enforcement agencies will gather on Wednesday, May 14, at noon, outside the Centre County Courthouse to honor those who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2024. The service is open to the public.

This week is National Law Enforcement Week, a week to honor and support those who dedicate their lives to protecting the State College community. The SCPD remains committed to serving with dedication and integrity to keep the community safe, and is proud to be just one call away.

As the long three-day Memorial Day weekend approaches, local law enforcement officers would like to remind the community to celebrate responsibly. Officers from all jurisdictions in Centre County will be out to help everyone stay safe. Happy Memorial Day!
