All proceeds from the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Basketball Classic were donated to the family of legendary broadcaster Pete Medhurst, best known as the voice of Navy Athletics.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Basketball Classic organizing committee — myself, Jeff Starr and Mike Gunther — presented a check to Brenda Medhurst and Kelly Medhurst prior to Wednesday’s softball game at Southern High.
