ESAs (aka vouchers) are not a partisan issue. Iowa parents have school choice already. Public schools accept and educate ALL children.

Q: Would private schools that receive ESAs be included in different requirements or boundaries set forth by transparency bills? A: (after tripping over words) Yeah, it would just be public schools Administration fees for ESAs unknown!? Where is fiscal responsibility here?

PebbleGo, BookFlix and curated book boxes are just a few of the resources special education and general education students in Iowa use a lot in school…provided by the AEA, losing access would put a big gap in high-quality resources.

I’m assuming with Gov. Kim Reynolds focus on oversight and accountability in this legislative session that we will be seeing a bill soon detailing Iowa’s plan for accountability in Iowa’s private schools that receive public funds.
