We said goodbye to year 6 with a small, socially distanced outside service and a socially distanced version of the Apple bobbing relay followed by an evening campfire cookout in the forest. We wish them every success in their new adventure at St Johns Marlborough and other secondaries.

We were very excited to excited to welcome back year 2, 4 and 5 today. All the children will have had the chance to come back into school for over a week before the summer holidays start.

All the children have now been back into school and worked with their teachers. There have also been sport and forest school sessions. We’re not finished yet - years 2-5 are all in school for the last few days of term next week.

Sycamore class loved their Zoom session this morning with Gareth P Jones also available in Bluesky as part of Marlborough LitFest. They asked lots of great questions and enjoyed hearing about Gareth’s books. They also loved the songs. They were buzzing afterwards.

Well done Zander. A great spooky story.

Thanks for a great session. Year 5/6 really enjoyed it and we’re looking forward to getting stuck into Voyage of the Sparrow hawk.

Chestnut and Sycamore Class loved their Zoom session with Action for the River Kennet (ARK) yesterday. Lots was learned about the river, it’s amazing variety of living things and how we can all help by saving water. We can’t wait to visit the river next week.
