@TomTalksMoney_ Martin Lewis They can keep increasing interest rates till there's nothing left, but it's not the people who are pushing it. It's retail and energy suppliers. If Ofgem did their job, they'd regulate these energy giants and inflation would fall.

FirstGroup have proven themselves to be totally incapable of delivering a reliable service for passengers. I wouldn’t trust them to run a bath never mind a rail service.

One of the best lines I heard from a specialist machinery supplier years ago springs to mind “It’s only the profit that makes us expensive”😂

I have to say I agree here, the idea that farmers create field margins to improve conservation, create habitat and increase biodiversity but then a heap of walkers and their dogs march through it every day seems a little bizarre. Still more reason for a land use policy/strategy.

Ffs Woodpasture! Agroforestry #cowsintrees Once more my (final) BPS payment is a fight because the concept of grazing under trees is somehow, still, difficult to grasp! See that grass? It’s grazed! Often, just like all my other fields! (All my woods have been taken out, again)

New guest blog today from Vicki Hird MSc FRES 🐝🦋 🍃💚🍃 who is rightly furious that the Govt has abandoned plans for a Horticulture Strategy. We desperately need to increase domestic - and sustainable - Fruit & Veg production & that needs Govt support to make it happen. anewnatureblog.com/2023/05/12/gue…

Things you don’t expect to read in the Guardian: “On average, plant milks now cost twice as much as good, old-fashioned cow’s milk, which has been building strong teeth and bones and warding off osteoporosis for thousands of years”! 😃 🐮🥛= 💪🏼🦷🦴

And in this way a glass of water is an alternative to a glass of milk but I’m not sure how that informs the debate in any meaningful way! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Tell me why you’re leaving, “because the country is being run by inward looking, xenophobic fascists” so would you say the reason is immigration…?🤦🏻‍♂️

Notice nobody ever blames high rents and high cost of borrowing for premises or their employees high housing costs. Strange that.

Our first bbq of the year, down by our pond and wood with the family Strickley Shorthorn steak, Anglum from Martin Gott (made with our milk) and local bacon. And then, of course, the statutory toasted marshmallow🤩 May this kind of thing go on forever 💚
