Latvijā ēnu ekonomika 2024. gadā samazinājusies līdz 21,4% no IKP, par 1,5 procentpunktiem mazāk nekā 2023. gadā. Lietuvā – 24,7%, par 1,7 punktiem mazāk. Igaunijā pieaugums – 19,5% no IKP, kas ir par 1,6 punktiem vairāk nekā gadu iepriekš.

“2024. gadā Baltijā ēnu ekonomikas galvenā sastāvdaļa joprojām bija aplokšņu algas,” norāda SSE Riga profesors Arnis Sauka. “Risinājumi jāmeklē ne tikai ar sodiem, bet arī, demonstrējot labu praksi valsts līdzekļu izmantošanā un mazinot birokrātiju.”
