Wg Cdr Srinivas G became the first Indian to finish this race in 2017. He also won the Armed Forces Services Cup of RAAM 2023. He is serving as a Medical Officer at Command Hospital AF Bangalore and was awarded with Chief of the Air Staff Commendation for his achievements.(2/2)

#RAAM is an ultra-distance cycling race held across the United States & is counted as one of the toughest annual endurance events in the world. This transcontinental event spans from the west to east coast across various terrains in the United States & covers around 5000 kms.

Today I received the Coveted Armed Forces Cup physically on speed post from Race Across America for finishing the 2023 race successfully while serving the Indian Armed Forces. Every year the @raceacrossamerica recognises the service rendered by Armed Forces Personnel

My one word description of all the 12 states in, @raceacrossamerica California- Friendly Arizona- Hot Utah- Monumental Colorado- Rad Kansas- Windy Missouri- Misery Illinois- Smart Indiana- Sleepy Ohio- Tough West Virginia-Hilly Pennsylvania- brief Maryland- Cool

My office commutes in Bangalore : Run 2 Office: 4 h, MTB to office: 1h 30 min, Road bike to office: 1h 8 min, Bus and Metro train: 2 h, Car 2 office: 1h . I find myself to be happy commuting and stress free when I cycle/run/public transport but stressed out in a car. #office

I cycle to work and in the last 3 years in Bangalore, I have cycled 30 thousand kilometres in my office commute . Equivalent to preventing 12 tonnes of CO2 to the planet 🪐 in 3 years. Each tonne of CO2 reduction equals planting 40 trees which means 120 trees planted to my credit
