Our paper on Cooper pair splitting in superconductor-semiconductor hybrids is now online: nature.com/articles/s4146… As a follow up we have now been able to controllably tune the interactions between the quantum dots to create localized Majorana bound states...stay tuned for more.

Here is our work on two-site Kitaev chains in 2DEGs: arxiv.org/abs/2311.03208 . What I find so reassuring is that physics works! We see the same phenomena that our colleagues saw earlier this year in nanowires: nature.com/articles/s4158…

....and is now pushed further to make more robust chains: arxiv.org/abs/2311.03193. I'm cautiously optimistic that we could now start doing some really fun physics with Majoranas in these systems.

arxiv.org/abs/2406.06410 Our preprint on the study of local density of states in superconductor-semiconductor hybrids. We made devices to study how the microscopic properties change along the length of a gate-defined hybrid nanowire. Proud of this study, been a long time coming.

Our work on a non-local Josephson effect in multi-terminal junctions is now published. journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/1… Some features often associated with the observation of hybridized Andreev levels can in fact arise from a much simpler treatment of a network of 2-terminal junctions.
