Last week, Dr Chris McManus was representing SRES and University of Essex in Guangzhou, China! Chris delivered insightful sessions to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students, sharing all about life at Essex and the exciting opportunities of studying in the UK.

A study into grassroots rugby concussion found players’ brains are still affected after being cleared to play. Led by Dr Ben Jones of Sport-Rehab-Ex UOE, the study found seven out of eight concussed players still had abnormal brain responses 25 days after injury. brnw.ch/21wSOen
