As part of our seaside theme we have enjoyed getting creative and designing our very own ice cream. 😋 We used paints, sponges and glitter to make our very own yummy ice cream! What flavour was your ice cream? 🍦

This week in nursery we are learning all about transport. In our role play area we have a big red bus! We have enjoyed taking turns to be the bus driver and the passengers on the bus. 🚌

Today the children have enjoyed a special float or sink experiment in the water tray. 💦 They explored different objects placing them in the tray to see if they floated on the surface or sank to the bottom. Can you try this at home? #float #sink

The Big Red Bus! We’ve enjoyed drawing a picture of our big red bus from our role play area! 🚌

We have had so much fun in our maths session today practising how we add one more teddy bear onto our tens bus! We added one at a time, counted and checked the quantity was always more at the end! 🧸

Last week we enjoyed creating paper plate cars and aeroplanes as part of our transport theme! 🚗 ✈️ We had lots of fun fun exploring different textures and using the glue to make our creation!

Under The Sea 🐠🐙 This week we are exploring everything that lives under the sea! We have turned our role play area into an aquarium and have enjoying learning about life under water! #underthesea

We had lots of fun yesterday morning pretending to be on holiday! 🌞 We enjoy paddling in the swimming pool and eating delicious food at the holiday complex!

Friday fun! 😁 Last Friday when it was super hot, we enjoying taking time in the paddling pool to cool down! 💦 The difference a few days can make in the weather! 🌞🌧️

A very emotional day in nursery today as we say goodbye to our much loved Mrs Green. 💚 Thank you for being there always with a lovely smile and a cuddle when we need one 🌟 We will miss you so much!
