Class 8 are enjoying their Anglo Saxon Day. Their favourite activity so far has been learning about battles, using a shield and spear and practising their battle cry.
Class 11 and the Nest have had a fun full-filled morning! Learning new practical skills with Cricket bats and balls πΎ π I think we have a professional cricket player on our handsβ¦
The Nest, class 11 and EYFS have had a busy morning exploring our frozen flowers. The children used magnifying glasses to see what they could see in the ice and thought of different ways they could melt the ice to get the flowers out! ππΈπΌ
What a great whole school picnic we had today to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day! Thank you to all those families who came to join us, and a massive thank you to Mr Seaman, from Drone Discovery, for the fantastic aerial shot of us all! π¬π§π
Class 9 had a lovely art and design lesson yesterday afternoon. They looked at shapes on the front of a house and then used those shapes to create designs on clay.
Weβve had lots off in the Nest and class 11 today with our sensory ice cream shop π¨π¦
We chose our favourite flavours and added lots of sprinkles on top of our ice creams π
A huge well done to Class 8 for all the hard work they put into designing and making the cake! It looked amazing and tasted even better! Go Springfield!
Yesterday Class 9 enjoyed cutting up fruit, using the blender and making and tasting our own fruit smoothies. We all had a go at cutting and blending. It was a great afternoon.
