Last Wednesday, we held our last meeting of the Fall 2020 semester, welcoming back Darren Duhnke and Ron Gestiehr from Luttner Financial Group! It was great to hear from someone who started out as a petroleum engineer to give us perspective on investments coming out of college!

SPE Penn State held its fifth general body meeting of the 2020-2021 school year on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. We had the opportunity to hear from Kasey Ferguson and Jesse Street of Universal Pressure Pumping, Inc. We got to learn about the great history of the company, etc.

SPE Penn State held its 7th GBM of the '20-'21 school year on March 29, 2021. We heard from Dr. Richard Duff and Robert Muraczewski of Chevron. We learned about the design of overall drilling programs. We will be hosting our first in-person meeting of the school year on 04/14/21

On April 11, SPE Penn State held its first highway cleanup of the year. This event marked the first opportunity SPE Penn State was able to gather in person! Positive Energy spent the morning cleaning up litter along our sponsored highway in the Black Moshannon State Park.

On Wednesday, April 14, we held our second to last GBM welcoming back Darren Duhnke of Luttner Financial Group! It was great to hear from someone who started out as a petroleum engineer to give us perspective on how to invest and save coming out of college. Thanks again Darren!

A friendly reminder is that our final SPE meeting of the 2020-2021 school year will be held tonight, April 28, at 6PM via Zoom! We look forward to seeing you one last time!

SPE members from our chapter attended the Eastern Regional Meeting in Oglebay Resort, West Virginia last week. It was a great showcasing and learning opportunity for all!
