Hello there. Been a while. I'm checking in to share that I've joined the NCX crew. Let's do this climate thing. #forestsforthewin

Really excited to hear some of my awesome new colleagues at NCX share their expertise on additionality and how we at NCX measure it.

Proud to have recently joined the team democratizing access to forest carbon markets. NCX's latest exchange cycle marked the first time every forest landowner in the contiguous United States has had access to carbon markets. #ClimateActionNow Details: bit.ly/3fWJjmD

I'm really excited to see this important #naturebasedsolutions report for New England come out today from Highstead. I'm super proud of the work Jonathan Thompson, Kavita Kapur Macleod and I, and our many co-authors did together. #ClimateActionNow

New England’s forests are an underused tool in the climate fight, says a new study by Jonathan Thompson Spencer Meyer & Kavita Kapur Macleod. They're storing 14% of our emissions now; that could be 21% with 5 key strategies. bostonglobe.com/2022/11/08/sci… via 𝕯𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖓𝖆 𝕹𝖔𝖔𝖗 The Boston Globe

#COP27 has been such a tremendous opportunity to talk to diverse perspectives from around the world with a common goal of addressing climate change. Even when there are disagreements at high-level negotiations, I take comfort knowing many people are jumping in and trying things.

New England’s forests currently absorb roughly 27 million U.S. tons of CO2e each year but could sequester even more with new management practices. Read the report co-authored by NCX's Spencer Meyer: bit.ly/3OfG5uQ
