Prof. Subhadip Mukherjee from IIT Kharagpur visited us this week and gave a series of lectures on “optimal transport.” Subhadip is also a stellar alumnus (2018) of our lab. He delivered these lectures in his inimitable style with fantastic blackboard work and exceptional clarity.

Masters students of ⁦Spectrum Lab⁩ received their degrees today at the institute annual convocation! Hearty congratulations to them all.

Had a great conversation with Ravindran, Professor and head of Wadhwani School of AI at IIT Madras. Ravi shared his experiences on running the academic programs at the school. Learnt several interesting and new things.

Dr. Aniruddha Adiga, research assistant professor from U. Virginia, USA, visited us and gave an interesting talk on “Forecasting Epidemics.” He’s an alumnus of our lab (2018 PhD).
