I love looking out the side window of the cupola on the International Space Station. This particular view is looking starboard toward Antarctica to catch the aurora — and look at the star movement! I’ve seen a lot of reds and greens in the aurora, but this one had some purple hues, as well.

Another Mission Duty Cycle in the books! We fired our Miranda engine at full power for 206 seconds - the full duration our 7 first stage engines will burn to lift Eclipse off the launch pad and on its way to orbit. More to come as our hot fire summer continues!

2028–2029: Scaling the Mission Profile: SpaceX wants to scale the Mars program. 20 ships per launch window. Each carrying 75 tons of early equipment: power, bots, supplies. No humans yet—just groundwork. These flights are about prepping the red planet for what’s coming next.

On Titan, Saturn’s moon, the gravity is so low, and the air is so thick that you could slap some wings on your arms and basically become a budget superhero. 🍻

Some info on these 15 years of Falcon 9 Falcon 9 has launched 484 times, 2 of those launches were failures and another one dropped off a secondary payload in a lower-than-intended orbit. Additionally, another Falcon 9 exploded on the pad before the launch was meant to happen.

Without SpaceX, China would already have gapped America in orbital launches. Even without reusable boosters, China is almost at half of America’s launch rate. Very interesting implications for what China could do once it cracks reusability.
