When you can't feel God's love or when it seems all hope is gone, wait for Jesus. His eternal light-life shines for you even in death.

It's true. Jesus is real. Jesus is alive and he's with you!! Hold his hand. Put all your confidence in him. He will comfort and strengthen you.

We often talk about the importance of having a “safe person” in your life to talk to… but what does that actually mean? How do we know if someone is safe?

When we rely on Jesus for security and confidence it empowers us to be honest with others in a gentle way that invites empathy.

We all want more peace, but often we go about it the wrong way. Without realizing it, we settle for peace substitutes. What do you do to be at peace?

Jesus' easy yoke is a secure attachment. It's God's unconditional grace accepting and loving you freely, not because of your works or performance.

Gentle reminder: You are not alone 🤍 God is already present to you in what you’re going through. You can join with what God is doing by placing yourself in His kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy.

Jesus welcomes you! Lay your burden down. You don’t have to be ideal. You don’t have to do everything right. You don’t have to please everybody. You are loved and accepted for who you are! ❤️

There's a better way to experience true peace in your relationships: Speak the truth in love to one another as God does with you (Eph 4:15).

Speaking the truth in love builds trust and bonding, facilitates reconciling after conflict, and enables us to experience true peace in our relationship.

#Shalom is peace from God. It’s calming and comforting. It puts a smile on your lips and a glow on your face. It calms your brain, relaxes your shoulders, keeps your steps in rhythm, and engages you with people in the moment.

The #Bible washes our minds and restores our souls. It's daily manna from heaven. When God speaks, as he does so clearly in the Bible, he gives us his abundant and eternal life today.

Jesus doesn't need you to put on a happy face all the time. He invites you to trust his love, truth, and empathy by being emotionally honest with him and safe friends -- this is healthy faith!

How readily we make the mistake of putting our Bible reading on a To-Do List that we check off with a sense of accomplishment — this is a waste of time!

Bill Gaultiere (@soulshepherding) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The #Bible is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16), but is our reading inspired by God? Are we listening to and relying upon the anointing of the Spirit as we read? (1 John 2:20, 27).

Refusing to feel our #emotions doesn’t make them go away. Instead, they go into our bodies and influence us without our awareness or consent. And eventually, they leak out in sickness, depression, anxiety, addiction, cynicism, isolation, or destructive conflicts with people.

Reading to get through the #Bible is not enough — we need to let the Bible get through us. We need to submit to it, or, more accurately, we need to submit to its author, the Holy Spirit.
